先日、英語検定の合格発表があり、多くの生徒が合格しました。

　The other day a lot of students passed Eiken tests.

さらに上の級を目指してがんばっていく雰囲気です。

 Everybody has more motivation to take higher grade test.

本日、標記の会が開催され、地域の方々も来られる中、すばらしい発表が続きました。

　Today the first YAKO Award competition was held in the afternoon with a lot of living people in Yakage area.

   We could listen to a lot of splendid presentations in Yakage Senior High students.

審査員は参加者全員。みんなでつくるYAKOアワードでした。

 All the participants did juges, and everybody took part in this competition actively.

　ということで、毎日続けて英検二次面接の練習に自主的に取り組みました。

　This week students worked on practice to pass the eiken 2nd-stage interview volunteerly.

　みんな真剣です。

   Everybody’s serious itself.

　総仕上げとして、Jessica先生に面接をしてほしいとの生徒の要望があがりました。

  There were a lot of requests to have an interview practice with ALT Jessica as a last try.

　英語科全体で合格に向けてラストスパートをかけました！

  All English teachers encouraged them to pass the Eiken Test.

　第３回目は本日行われた、国語のMs. Tによる漢文の授業を紹介します。

　This time I’ll introduce Ms. T’s Chinese classical literature’s class.

　内容は「先従隗始（まずかいよりはじめよ）」でした。

  The topic was “Whoever suggest should start; Start from small things.”

　白文による音読チャレンジもあり、生徒は真剣。

   One of the aims was that students could read with the unpunctuated Chinese texts version, so they tried very hard.

　いよいよ、学年の総決算ともいえる３学期が始まり、みんな気合いが入っています。

　まず、始業式と教務課長講話が行われました。　 Now, the third term has begun, and all the students are now trying hard to do everything.  At first, the opening ceremony was held, and our principal and the head of teaching system department made speeches.

　その後、各学年に分かれての集会、頭髪検査が行われました。下の写真は１年の様子です。

 After that, students were divided into each grade, and had an assembly and had hairstyle checked.

　真剣です。全てにおいて目で聞き、礼ではじまり、礼で終わります。

      Everybody’s so nice!  Everybody puts a lot of focus on greeting!!

　すきま時間にテスト勉強、すばらしい姿です。　また、スリッパなど自主的に整然と置ける、これも矢高生の力です。

　現在、課題考査や特別授業が行われています。センター試験まであと9日！！

　 It’s quite excellent that some of our students study for the coming test all the time.  Furthermore, they can put their slippers properly.  These are the powers of Yakage SHS students.

    Now, students are doing tests and classes.  Especially for the third grade students, they are now preparing for the coming The university entrance center test.   In nine days, the day will come.

　本日、大学入試センター試験の受験票が配付され、いよいよといった感じになってきました。

　がんばれ、受験生！！  You can do it!!

先日行われた第２回英検にて２級の合格者が誕生しました。

　One student passed the Grade 2 in the eiken certification test.

過ごしやすくなり勉強の秋！

今週の土曜セミナー。1年生と2年生はそれぞれ、「国語」と「英語検定対策講座」

3年生文系は「現代社会」と「日本史・世界史」、理系は「化学」

　　１年探究コースで岡山大学に行ってきました。

４月２６日から２７日、普通科探究コース１年生が、サントピア総社を会場に１泊２日の学習合宿を行いました。高校での自主学習のしかたを身につけること、学習習慣を確立させることが目的です。

　
この４月に大学生となった先輩の体験談を聞き、自分の目標を設定し、それに向かって着実に努力することの大切さを自覚できました。
有意義な２日間でした。

　普通科探究コース３年生が国公立大学の２次試験に向けて個別指導を受けている様子です。３年生探究コースではセンター試験が終わり２～３月の一般入試に向けて、一人ひとりに徹底した指導が行われています。

　普通科３年生探究コースの生徒が大学入試センター試験に向けて頑張っています。今日はセンター試験に向けての激励会が行われました。

　７月、普通科１年生探究コースの生徒が岡山大学を見学しました。

　４月２７日・２８日に遙照山ホテルにおいて普通科１年生探究コースが学習合宿を行いました。英数国の学力アップを目指し、集中して学習に取り組みました。
