軟式野球部県大会１回戦の結果
軟式野球部が県大会の１回戦を戦いました。
結果 矢掛 ５ － ０ 津山工業
先発の山木拓馬くんが１安打完封の好投。
代打で登場した守屋誠くんが３打点の活躍で見事、勝利しました。
準決勝は ４／２６（日）に 新見高校 と １３：００～ ＠真庭やまびこスタジアム で行われます。

第１回YAKOアワード開催！
本日、標記の会が開催され、地域の方々も来られる中、すばらしい発表が続きました。
Today the first YAKO Award competition was held in the afternoon with a lot of living people in Yakage area.
We could listen to a lot of splendid presentations in Yakage Senior High students.
審査員は参加者全員。みんなでつくるYAKOアワードでした。
All the participants did juges, and everybody took part in this competition actively.

感動の卒業式
卒業証書授与式が晴天のもと、盛大に行われました。
Our gradution ceremony was held on March 2 very gloriously. It was also sunny.
送辞と答辞もびしっときまっていました。特に答辞は原稿をみず、真正面を向いての堂々たる姿に感動しました。
Both sending speech and answering speech were so great. Above all, we were very impressed with the attitude of the student who made an answering speech. Because he was standing straight with no script.
蛍の光、校歌を高らかに歌い、感動のうちに終了。その後は各HRで最後のHRを行いました。
We sang ”Hotaru- n0-Hikari” and School Song very loudly and were very touched. After the ceremony, each HR teacher made a great speech and performance.
卒業生の美しい涙と、晴れやかな表情が印象的な、素敵な１日でした。

卒業式まであと1日
3月2日に 矢掛高校の卒業証書授与式が行われます。
生徒会執行部のメンバーを中心に卒業生を送り出す準備も終え、
天気の回復を願うのみ。
晴れろ～～～～～～！！
平成26年度卒業証書授与式は１０：００より行われます。

ジョイフルコンサート♪
吹奏楽部が笠岡市民会館に高梁川流域高等学校音楽会(ジョイフルコンサート)に出かけました。6時には学校で練習を開始、7時の矢掛の空には飛行機雲が・・・。Our brass band club members took part in the Joyful Concert at Kasaoka Civic Center. This concert is made up of members going to senior high schools along the Takahashi.
Students came to school at 6 a.m. and practiced a little bit. At 7 a.m. I could see a vapor trail in the Yakage Sky.
はじまりはベートーヴェンの「歓びの歌」、フィナーレは「私のたからもの」という歌で盛大に演奏しました。
We sang “Symphony No.9 Japanese version” at the beginning, and “My treasure” at the end of the concert. A lot of audience gave us big hands.
